Quietly tucked away in the small town of Red Lion, PA, the Red Lion Bed and Breakfast is a cozy and inviting retreat. Shaded by swaying hemlocks and blue spruce, this early 1900's brick home welcomes all who pass by it. The business traveler and vacationer alike can appreciate the convenient location as well as the relaxing atmosphere. All guests are invited to share in the full breakfast prepared by Chef Dani. Light snacks and bottled water are provided to help you relax.

A Full breakfast is included with room rate. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. but can be adjusted to meet your needs. A Continental breakfast is available for business travelers and guests on the go. Breakfast is served in our breakfast/dining area or in the garden on our patio as weather permits. Their are several excellent locally owned restaurants less than a mile from the Bed & Breakfast. Special breakfast menus are available: Low Fat, Restricted, Vegetarian.

Guest Policies

We will send you an email or written confirmation of your reservation if you make your deposit 7 days before the check-in date. Please contact us if you do not receive either an email or written confirmation.

We provide keys that operate the front door and your room door. If you come in late, please be as quiet as possible as other guests may be sleeping.

We provide one off-street parking spot per room.

In consideration of other guests, please check with the innkeeper before bringing anyone back to the Bed and Breakfast to socialize.

Smoking is allowed only in limited areas outside.

We are sorry but we can not accomodate pets. We can refer you to some great local places that your pets can stay while you stay with us.

Well-behaved children are welcome by special arrangement, no childcare is provided.

Check In time is between 4pm and 7pm. Please call us if you will be arriving earlier or later and we will gladly make arrangements to be available for Check In.

Check out time is 11am.

Minimum stay required only on some promotional/event weekends (2 night minimum). Contact the innkeeper for details on promotional/event weekends.

Rates are for double occupancy, for each additional person add $20.00.

The tax added to your room total includes 6% Pennsylvania sales tax and 3% York County hotel tax

A Credit card is required to make a reservation. If you would prefer we will accept pre-payment by cash/check. We will make your reservation when your payment is received.

We gladly accept Travelers Checks, Personal Checks, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Red Lion Bed & Breakfast is a small property where every guest reservation made is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days prior to your arrival date for a cheerful refund of your deposit less a $25 processing fee.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than a one (1) days notice (before 4pm), shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.
